Is Better to Walk or Ride a Bike.

Research shows that cycling burns approximately two times more calories than walking per one hour of walking you will burn approximately 300 calories whereas with cycling you will burn twice as much so that is around 600 calories burned per hour.

if you cycle at a slow pace so cycling is a much more effective form of exercise but that is not the only thing that you should care about.

If you are trying to lose weight and that is the only thing that you care about then cycling will definitely work better for you than walking but when it comes to walking it seems to be much better for your posture. I want you to watch yourself the next time you walk around or you ride a bike.

I want you to notice how your posture looks and what you will see is that you are way straighter when you are walking in fact when we ride our bikes we tend to hunch over and that is extremely bad for our back another thing that we have to talk about which also has a gigantic impact on your well-being, as well as weight loss, is muscles. sometimes when people are trying to lose weight they do cardio all the time and cardio is an amazing way to be healthier and also lose weight however it can also be a double-edged sword because unfortunately pronged periods of cardio will make you lose muscle is that the case with walking definitely not there is no proof that walking at a slow or moderate pace reduces your muscle mass but with cycling, it might potentially be the case if you cycle for over 60 or 90 minutes every day but it also depends on your pace if you cycle very slowly to the point where it takes no effort whatsoever you will definitely not lose any muscle mass.

if you cycle at a somewhat fast pace somewhat challenging pace then you might start losing some muscle and that is why cardio does not always work for losing weight because as your muscle mass decreases your metabolism goes down and when your metabolism goes down you will lose weight much slower so that is one thing to be aware of when it comes to cycling but you don't need to worry about this unless you cycle a lot and by a lot. I mean for more than 9 hours a week but the same thing can be said about walking joint damage should not occur until you run.

if your joints are already damaged that is where cycling will help you because it is even safer for your joints than walking what I love about cycling is that sometimes you have to go uphill sometimes you have to go downhill which means that you are not doing this studying movement at a static frequency as if you were walking now I know it

takes effort to walk up to the hill as well but you can just slow down and enjoy the walk right whereas, with the

bike, you just have to do it riding a bike forces you to make it more intense when you are riding up and it puts a different type of stress on your body which means it's better for your

cardiovascular health for preventing cancer even for

preventing neurodegenerative diseases and cycling is more enjoyable in my opinion but this is highly subjective

I just love it because you get exposed to a lot of stuff because you are faster than when you are walking and also the wind is nice but the wind could also turn into a weapon it could cause inflammation in your ear and I have a problem with this actually not so much now that I'm into the health stuff because eating healthy and exercising and sleeping well reduces inflammation but when I ride a bike I still have to have a headband with myself or it's going to cause me pain in the ear and it will last for a few days it actually happened to me a few days ago.

I can tell you it is not comfortable and the fact that you see all the beautiful land around you also might not be positive because it prevents you from going inwards that's why we like it actually we like everything that distracts us from turning inwards and that might not sound that important but i think that if your priority is growing spiritually the walking is probably better for you than cycling and when you walk barefoot that's even better especially if you go on a natural surface it is even better for your posture but

also, you can reap the benefits of grounding I will not go into them right now but in short they are huge that's why I personally go barefoot everywhere I go unless it's winter I might regret that in the future I already got some infection because of that but I’m okay and the benefits are just too big to be dismissed they definitely outweigh the negatives

What I forgot to mention about muscles is that cycling can actually increase your muscle mass if you look at professional cyclists.

They have very developed legs so I guess that when it comes to muscle loss cycling if done properly is definitely not bad and might actually be beneficial so whether you should cycle or walk will depend on your priorities.
